NanOxiMet Final Workshop 2016

On 2nd May 2016, the ERA-Net SIINN project NanOxiMet (Oxidant generating capacity as a metric to allow grouping of nanomaterials and prediction of human health effects) is hosting its final workshop " Oxidative potential as a metric for nanomaterial grouping?" in the premises of DECHEMA in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

The interesting program offers lectures of international experts like Prof. Flemming Cassee (RIVM and University of Utrecht, NL), Dr. Keld Alstrup Jensen (NRCWE, Denmark), Dr. Markus Kalberer (University of Camebridge, UK), Dr. Ian Mudway (King's College London, UK) together with NanOxiMet partners on nanomaterials (NM) and their oxidative potential concerning characterisation, toxicological effects and possible grouping approaches.

Thematic Sessions:

  • characterization and "challenges" of NM especially of oxidative potential
  • toxicological effects of NM focusing on the three tiers of oxidative stress
  • Oxidative Potential as promising metric for NM grouping, in epidemiology and in regulation?

Further Information on this workshop can be found in the programme (PDF, 31KB) or on the NanOxiMet Website via the following link http://www.nanoximet.eu/?page_id=425

WHEN: 02. May 2016

WHERE: DECHEMA Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology e.V, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 25, 60486 Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Registration: The workshop is free of charge. Registration is open until 25th March 2016 via the Online Form http://www.nanoximet.eu/?page_id=427
