With the launch of the Nano-Platform "Safe Handling of Nanomaterials" (http://nano.dguv.de/), the DGUV has introduced the world's first interactive platform focusing on occupational safety and health aspects of nanomaterials. It adresses both employees without knwowledge about nano technology and prevention experts.

Main part of their work are so called "Nanoramas" - a word creation from the words nano and panorama. A Nanorama is a special 360°-E-Learning tool which has been developed by the Innovation Society. Users are able to move freely in a virtual room in which they can playfully learn about Nanotechnolgy. Nanoramas can be used in several areas of training and communication.

The newest "Nanorama - car workshop" to learn the safe handling of nanomaterials can be found under http://nano.dguv.de/nanorama/bghm/

Previous Nanoramas focusing on the areas construction side and laboratory can be found under http://nano.dguv.de/nanoramen/

NOTE: The Nanoramas are currently only available in german!

The "Nanorama Car Workshop" (http://nano.dguv.de/nanorama/bghm/) is part of the Nano-Platform "Safe Handling of Nanomaterials" by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV). It was developed by the Innovation Society, St. Gallen in cooperation with the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the woodworking and metalworking industries (BGHM).
